For the most economical storage as well as energy-optimised warehousing and retrieval, the internal processes must be optimally interlocked. Our special machine engineering always aims at the best individual solution for our customers' production. From planning and construction to commissioning and maintenance, we ensure the most efficient control, implementation and organisation of the material flows within a storage operation, including the transport of goods in the warehouse or factory premises.

In addition, we create the basis for flexible expansion options, as storage and conveyor systems, filling systems and palletising technology as well as robotics and the associated comissioning software are developed and designed from a single source at the Quickborn site near Hamburg.

Fully automated loading and unloading systems

At the start of the unloading process an adjustable chain conveyor together with a loading robot are set onto the truck bed. With multifunctional magnetic grippers barrels are being unloaded and placed onto the chain conveyor. One after another the truck is being cleared.

Modern conveyor technology

SMB International offers individual delivery solutions with state-of-the-art control and drive technology for each your transport tasks. Our vertical conveyors are used in compact storage systems. Our roller conveyors allow for easy transport of pallets. Utilizing our belt conveyors you can quickly transport bulk materials and bags to ship loading systems. Chain conveyors are especially useful when you have to transport barrels through fully automatic filling systems.

In combination with vertical conveyors our tailor-made truck shuttle storage system allows for simultaneous multilevel loading and unloading. With our ship loading systems that use helical or cascade chutes for optimized flow speed of bulk materials you can effectively shorten stays in ports and, thus, minimize insurance and transport costs. SMB ship loading systems can be installed as stationary systems or as mobile loading devices on rails that run along the quayside and are suitable for use in demanding climatic conditions.
